The idea for this chair comes by reflecting about
traditional Viennese wooden chairs which you
find in the Kaffeehaus for example. The rigorous
approach and the playful details of these have
been reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The
chair is made of birch plywood, glued with black
phenolic resin.
The single parts are CNC milled and assembled.
By milling the glue becomes visible which gives
the strong graphical impact.
Natural birch color, yellow or black stained. Al-
ways with arm rest and stackable
